All Grades:  Vocabulary Contracts and Math Logs are due Monday, April 25, 2011, (see vocabulary tab for lists of words)

7th Grade:  Comparing & Scaling pg. 41-42 #4-10 

 8th Grade: 

4th Quarter Current Events Journal 
  1. Write about one news story (current event) for each day.
  2. Each news story MUST be about something related to our study of the Constitution (i.e., current laws, proposed bills, rights of citizens, acts of Congress, etc.)
  3. You may use a newspaper, internet news or any tv news show (CLTV, CNN, ABC, etc.)
       Each day, write the following in your journal: 

o       Name of the news story

o       Date of the news story

o       Location of the news story (city, state, country)

o       Source of the news story

o       5-7 sentences summarizing the news story and how it relates to your study of the constitution

o       3-4 sentences stating your opinion about the story

 2)    Pick one of the projects listed at the bottom of pg. 19 under the section titled “PROJECTS”.  You must complete ONE of the projects listed there.  Your report must be at least one page long.

Due Date:  Monday, April 4, 2011...Don't forget your vocabulary contract work is also due on Monday, April 4, 2011.
